Description:

“My name is Glo, and I am the leader of this project. I envision our team using loppers to prune low hanging limbs on the Tidewater Bike Trail. We will start at Lathrop Road and proceed south to Louise Avenue. Our team will cut up anything 8-10’ high, and anything protruding at the base of trees. Anybody including children could collect trimmings and toss onto a few piles that would then be loaded onto the trucks of volunteers to move to a dropping site. If you have any questions, you can contact me at gfuentes@gene.com

ALL VOLUNTEERS - Please bring your work gloves. Park at Northgate Park, or at Northgate Community Church (650 Northgate Dr. Manteca, CA 95336).

NEEDED EQUIPMENT - The following items can be brought by volunteers: loppers, hand pruners, leaf rakes, and pitchforks. If you have a truck you would like to use on the trail, you will need to “register” it with this project. To do so, send a picture of your current CDL, auto registration, and insurance card to jimtodd@lovemanteca.com

Love Manteca would like to kindly ask that you respect the safety of all involved in this amazing day by following health and safety protocols.
